Seniors Ride With STC For $12 One-Way In May

Seniors can fill up their calendars with fun, family and friends travelling with STC this May. From May 1 to 31, seniors 60 and over can ride anywhere STC goes for $12 one-way.

STC travels to over 250 communities in Saskatchewan, giving seniors across the province a chance to travel at a great price. The standard senior fare for a one-way trip between Regina and Saskatoon is $34.80, which is over $20 in savings if a senior purchases the same one-way ticket in May.

“We’re always happy to give our valued senior riders a great deal and our Senior Seat Sale is our most popular promotion,” said STC President and CEO Shawn Grice. “STC ridership sees a significant increase during the sale month as seniors take advantage of this great opportunity.”

Seniors took over 10,000 trips during the spring Senior Seat Sale in 2013. It would take over 200 buses at capacity to transport that many riders. Seniors should bring their identification with them at time of purchase and can buy their sale tickets at any STC agency.
