Terms and Conditions

Travel Requirements:

  • Each passenger travelling must have a valid printed e-Ticket.
  • Printed e-Ticket must be presented to driver when boarding.
  • Passengers must produce one piece of valid photo ID when boarding. The name on the ID must match the name on the ticket.
  • When travelling on a Frequent Rider fare, passengers must present their Frequent Rider Card along with valid photo ID. The name on the Frequent Rider Card must match the name on the ticket and photo ID.
  • Failure to produce required documents may result in the refusal of transport.

    Unaccompanied Minors

    All children who have not reached their eighth (8th) birthday must be accompanied by a passenger thirteen (13) years of age or older.

    Children age eight (8) to twelve (12) inclusive, may travel unaccompanied if an “Unaccompanied Child Form” is signed by the parent/guardian/custodian of the child and is attached to the ticket. Children age eight (8) to twelve (12) inclusive, while travelling unaccompanied, MUST MEET ALL requirements outlined in Rule 14 Section A1 of STC's Local Passenger Tariff.

    e-Tickets & Refund policies:

  • e-Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • e-Tickets are only valid for the scheduled date and time selected at the time of purchase.
  • e-Tickets are only valid for the origin/destination and direction specified on ticket.
  • e-Ticket travel schedules cannot be changed after the ticket has been purchased.
  • In the event that STC has to cancel a schedule, you will be able to travel on the next available schedule.
  • STC is not responsible for missed schedules. In the event that you miss your schedule you will be required to purchase another ticket.
  • Special tickets such as medical passes, attendant passes, and compassionate fares are not offered for online purchase. These types of tickets must be purchased at an STC terminal.
  • Baggage:

    As a condition of carriage, all baggage is subject to search in accordance with the following:

    STC reserves the right:

  • To conduct a search of all passengers, baggage and cargo for any substance, material, or article of a kind or quality that is likely to be disagreeable to or dangerous to passengers or is likely to expose passengers, baggage or cargo to risk, loss or damage;
  • To refuse to accept for transportation any such substance, material or article; or
  • To require any such substance, material, or article to be placed in the lower baggage compartment as a condition of transport.
  • No person is obligated to permit a search of their person, baggage, or cargo to be carried out if they choose to not board or have their baggage or cargo placed on the bus.
  • A maximum of three pieces of baggage (2 checked and 1 carry-on), for each full fare ticket, and a maximum of two pieces of baggage (1 checked and 1 carry-on) for each half fare or free ticket will be accepted for transportation free of charge. All baggage must meet the size and weight restrictions outlined in the Saskatchewan Transportation Company Local Passenger Tariff Section A2.
  • General:

  • STC reserves the right to refuse to transport a person
  • who fails to present proper identification needed to complete their trip;
  • whose name on their ticket does not match the name on their identification;
  • under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs;
  • whose conduct is likely to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers;
  • who is incapable of caring for himself or herself, unless travelling with an attendant;
  • who refuses to comply with any lawful rule or regulation of STC; or
  • who refuses to allow a search of their baggage or person.
  • An e-Ticket does not act as a reservation for a specific seat; passengers will board on a first come, first served basis.
  • e-Tickets are protected from fraud; tickets must not be reproduced or altered in any way. STC reserves the right to refuse travel to any person presenting a fraudulent ticket for travel and may be subject to further legal action as defined by law.
  • Passengers travelling with an e-Ticket are required to abide by all rules outlined in the STC Local Passenger Tariff.
  • Passengers who fail to abide by any of the above terms and conditions or by any of the rules set out in the Saskatchewan Transportation Company Local Passenger Tariff may be refused transport.
